We operate out of units A-2, 27, and 40 in the Diwan & Shah Industrial Estate in Vasai (E). Having units spread out like that means we are always walking back and forth across the estate. It keeps us on our toes. At Nirmal Ayur Life Pvt. Ltd., we deal with a lot of natural ingredients. You can usually tell which unit is ours by the smell of the roots and oils we are processing. The humidity in Vasai can be tough, especially in the afternoons, so we have a lot of fans running. Our workspace is strictly for production and packing. There are sacks of raw materials stacked against the walls and small scales on the benches. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of our staff are locals from around Vasai who have been with us for quite a while. We know each other’s families and share tea during the breaks. The industrial estate is always humming with activity, and we are just one part of that. We spend a lot of time making sure the labels are straight and the bottles are clean before they leave. It is a lot of manual work, and our hands are usually stained with something or other by the end of the day. We just do our best to keep things moving and get the orders out the door every week.
