Nexgen India is on the ground floor of Bidiwala Apartment, which is at 8A in Dawood Baug. It’s just off J.P. Road in Andheri West. If you’ve ever tried to drive around Andheri, you know it can be a bit of a nightmare, but our little corner is actually tucked away enough that it isn't too crazy. Being on the ground floor is handy because we don't have to wait for elevators or deal with stairs. The apartment building is an older one, so it has that lived-in feel. Our office isn't some sleek, modern space. It’s a bit small, and we’ve had to get creative with how we fit all our stuff in, but it works for us. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist. Usually, if someone comes by, whoever is closest to the door just says hello. We’ve been in this spot for several years now. We know the neighbors and the local shops nearby. We don't really do the whole professional corporate branding thing. We just show up, handle the emails and the phone calls, and deal with whatever issues come up. It’s a very local, very simple way of doing business. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just a team working out of a ground-floor office in Andheri, making sure we get through our to-do list every day without any extra fuss.
