New Maharashtra Mechanical Works

We are located at Sandhurst Road, right at 66 R.B. Marg. Our spot is Gala No.28, which is across from Noor Baug and that Samson Apartment building. It’s a busy part of town, especially with all the traffic coming through. We spend most of our days here in the workshop just getting things done. There’s always a bit of a mess with parts lying around, but that’s just how mechanical work goes. People usually find us by looking for the landmarks since the lanes can get a bit confusing for someone who isn't from around here. My father started this and now we just keep it going every morning when we roll up the shutters. It’s not a huge place, just enough room for the machines and some space to move. We deal with various metal works and fixing stuff that people bring in. Sometimes it's loud because of the grinding and the hammer hits, but you get used to it after a while. Most of the guys here have been working together for a long time, so we just know what needs to happen without talking much. We take a break for tea when the chai wala comes by. It’s a simple routine, nothing fancy. We open up early and stay until the work is finished for the day. If you’re ever near Sandhurst Road station and need something looked at, we’re just right there.
