Nityanand Nagar is where we set up New India Construction Company. Mumbai is a fast place, but in this part of town, things feel a bit more grounded and real. We spend a lot of time on site, so the office is often empty until the evening when everyone rolls back in. Whether it’s a small repair or a bigger structure, we treat it the same way. The guys on the crew are hardworking and don't complain much about the heat or the rain. We’ve had our share of ups and downs over the years, dealing with permits and the usual Mumbai chaos that never seems to end. We drink a lot of chai and spend hours talking about cement and steel. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know. People in Nityanand Nagar see us coming and going at all hours of the day and night. We just focus on the task at hand and try to finish what we started without too much fuss or extra talk. It is just honest work for us.
