New India Civil Erectors

Working out of Jogeshwari-East in Mumbai is always a bit of a challenge with the crowd and the constant noise outside. New India Civil Erectors is tucked away in Saraswati Baug at the Mangalya building. It is a tight space, but it fits us well enough for what we do every day. We spend most of our mornings planning out where the crew needs to go and making sure the supplies are ready for the trucks. Being at 33/5 Mangalya means we are close to the main roads, which helps when we need to get to a site quickly before the traffic gets bad. The monsoon season is usually our busiest and hardest time because everything gets delayed by the heavy rain. We handle a lot of civil work and erection jobs, mostly just grit and hard labor. It’s not clean work at all. You’ll see us coming back to the office with dust on our boots and grease on our hands most evenings. We have been in this Mumbai neighborhood for a long time, so we know the local shops and the guys who deliver our tea. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It's just a few of us sitting around a table making sure the projects stay on track. We've had some long nights here when a deadline is close. It’s just a normal business run by people who live nearby and know the city.
