New India Cable Corporation is situated at 21/22 Bapu Khote Cross Lane, just off Sv Road. It’s a bit of a narrow lane, so it can be a little tight when deliveries are arriving. We have been here for a good long while, surrounded by other small businesses and shops. The place is mostly filled with reels of cable and various tools we use every day. It’s not the most organized looking shop, but we know exactly where everything is located. When you walk in, you’ll probably see someone working on a spool or writing down notes on a scrap of paper. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. Sv Road is always busy, so there’s a constant hum of traffic outside our door. We open up in the morning and stay until the work is done. It’s a practical business without any extra frills. We don't really do the whole professional marketing thing because our work usually speaks for itself to the people who buy from us. The walls are a bit stained from years of moving heavy stuff around, but that's just part of the character of the place. We just try to be honest and get the cables ready for whoever is coming to pick them up that day. It is often a bit cramped in here with all the inventory, but we manage just fine.
