This office is in the New P.M.G.P. Colony, which is a Mhada area in Mulund East. We are at 35/110. It is a very different feel from a corporate park. There are families living all around us. Our office is a small space where we manage the private limited side of the infrastructure business. It is usually full of site supervisors coming in to hand over their weekly reports. There is always a bit of mud on the floor from someone’s boots. We have a lot of steel cabinets for our records. It is not a polished place. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that. We spend our days dealing with the realities of construction and big projects. It is a lot of paperwork and making sure the bills are paid. We don't have any promotional flyers or big speeches. We just work. The colony is a lively place to be. You hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long. It keeps us grounded. We’ve been here for a while and we know how things work in this part of Mumbai. It’s just a regular office for people who work hard and don't care about looking fancy.
