Neelam Digital Recording Studio

Our studio, Neelam Digital Recording Studio, is tucked away in Fort. Specifically, we are at 5/6 Ganeshchamber on Kinglane. It’s right off Mkamin Marg. If you know the Fort area, you know how tight the lanes can be. We’ve been here a while now, doing all sorts of recording work. It’s a small space, but we’ve got it set up with some decent soundproofing so the city noise doesn't leak in too much. Most days, it’s just people coming in to record some vocals or maybe do a bit of voiceover work. The building is an older one, so the stairs can be a bit of a climb, but it’s home for us. We started this because we liked working with sound, and it just grew from there. There’s always a lot of gear lying around, cables and microphones and whatnot. Sometimes it feels a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. The Mkamin Marg area is always bustling, especially during the day with all the office folks. We usually have some tea while waiting for the next person to show up for their session. It’s not some big high-end corporate place, just a local spot for people who need to get some audio recorded without a lot of fuss. We spend a lot of time sitting in front of the monitors, tweaking things until they sound right. It's a quiet life inside the booth and we like it that way.
