NDK Designs

Our office for NDK Designs is at number 12, Kalakunj, which is part of the Hardevi Bai Co Operative Housing Society. We are located on Caves Road in Jogeshwari East. If you are coming down the road, look for Deepak Jewellers; we are right near there. It’s a pretty standard residential area, so it feels more like a home than a stiff office. We like that because it keeps things relaxed. We do design work, mostly focusing on how to make homes look a bit better and function properly. There are a few of us here, and we usually have music playing while we work on our computers or sketch out ideas. Jogeshwari East can be quite a hustle, but our little corner in Kalakunj is relatively calm. We don't have a big storefront, so most people find us by checking the address or asking around. We deal with all sorts of design requests, some small and some quite big. We don't try to push anything fancy on people; we just listen to what they want and try to make it work within their budget. Sometimes we are out at sites or meeting suppliers, so the office might be empty for an hour or two. It’s just how a small business runs. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now and we’ve gotten to know the neighbors well. We just enjoy the creative process and seeing a room come together after a few weeks of planning.
