Navratna Auto Industries

Over in Jogeshwari West, specifically on the ground floor of Building No 7 in the Sar area, you will find Navratna Auto Industries. It is a busy place, mostly because auto work is never really quiet. There is always the sound of metal hitting metal or someone revving an engine nearby. Our workshop is on the ground floor, which is essential because we are always moving parts and tools around. The floor has those permanent oil stains that you can never quite scrub away, no matter how hard you try. We are a small crew, and most of us have grease under our fingernails by ten in the morning. We don't have a waiting room with magazines or a coffee machine. If you come by, you will probably just stand near the entrance while we talk about what needs to be done. It is practical work for practical people. We don't use big words or try to act like we are some huge factory. We are just a local auto shop that knows the local roads and the people who drive on them. The heat in the afternoon can be tough, but we just keep the doors open and keep working. It is a noisy, messy, and very real way to make a living, and we are quite alright with that.
