Navdurga Stationers & Printers

Navdurga Stationers & Printers is located in M T Property Chawl No. 5/52. We are right on Dr. E. Moses Road in Worli, not far from where Geeta Cinema used to be. Working in a chawl means space is always at a premium. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling packed with paper, pens, and all sorts of stationery. The printing press takes up a good chunk of the floor, and you have to be careful not to trip over the cords. It’s a busy part of Worli with a lot of cars and people passing by outside. The walls are thin, so we hear everything going on in the next unit, but that’s just part of the environment. We do a bit of everything, from selling pencils to printing out forms for local businesses. It gets pretty humid in here during the monsoon, and we have to be careful to keep the paper dry. People from the nearby offices often pop in when they run out of something. We don't have a big sign or a fancy storefront, just our name on the door. It’s a humble setup, but it’s been our livelihood for a long time. We know the history of Dr. E. Moses Road and how much things have shifted over the years. We just keep our heads down and serve the folks who come through. It’s a small life, but it’s ours and we’ve gotten quite comfortable in this corner of the chawl.
