National Thermals & Acoustics

Our business, National Thermals & Acoustics, is based in Room No. 13 of the Ratnasindhu Society. We’re tucked away in Uthkarsh Nagar, which is over in Bhandup West, Mumbai. It’s a busy neighborhood and our office is right in the middle of a residential society. This isn't a big factory or a fancy office block. It’s just a small room where we manage everything. We deal with insulation and soundproofing materials mostly. You’ll usually find samples of glass wool or acoustic foam scattered around the place. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock coming in, but we make it work. Living and working in Mumbai means space is always tight. We spend our days on the phone with clients or out at site visits across the city. The society is quite lively, so there’s always something going on outside our door. We’ve been here long enough that all the neighbors know what we do. It’s a simple, family-style operation. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on getting the right materials to the people who need them. Sometimes the Mumbai rains make it hard to move stock, but we manage. It’s just us doing our best to run a honest business from a small room in Bhandup. We have a lot of regular customers who come back because they know we are reliable. It’s about building trust over the years.
