The Leather Mall

We've been here at the Oberoi Shopping Center for a while now. It's shop number 9. Most people come in while they are staying at the hotel or just passing through the mall area. Our space isn't huge, but it's packed with leather stuff. You’ll see bags, wallets, and belts everywhere you look. Usually, the smell of tanned leather is the first thing you notice when you walk inside. It’s quiet in here compared to the busy streets outside. We spend a lot of time dusting the shelves and rearranging the display cases so everything looks decent. Some days are slow, and we just sit and wait for someone to walk in, but other times it gets quite busy with tourists looking for something to take home. We try to keep things simple. If someone wants to know how a jacket fits or if a wallet has enough slots for their cards, we just show them. It’s a straightforward way to run things. We don't have fancy lights or anything, just the regular shop setup. Most of the regulars know us by name now. It’s nice being in this part of town, even if the parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We just open up in the morning, do our work, and head home in the evening like everyone else. There is always something to do, whether it is tagging new arrivals or just chatting with the neighbors.
