Nandini Novelty Store

Our store is located at 9 Raj Heights, which is near the Gora Colony in the Epip Zone of Kandivali West. Being in Mumbai, things are always fast, but our shop feels a bit more grounded. It’s a novelty store, so we have a bit of everything on the shelves. It’s not just one thing. You’ll find small household items, maybe some toys, and various bits and pieces that people need for their homes. The space is filled from floor to ceiling with stock. Sometimes it takes us a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for because there is so much packed in. We’ve been in the Kandivali area for a while now. The morning starts with us pulling up the shutters and arranging the display out front. People from Raj Heights and the surrounding buildings pop in for daily necessities or last-minute gifts. It’s a small, local spot where we know a lot of the customers who walk through the door. It gets a bit cramped when more than two people are inside, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We don't have any corporate backing or a big marketing plan. We just open up every day and sell what’s on the shelves. It’s a simple neighborhood shop that serves the folks living around Gora Colony. Nothing more, nothing less than a place to find what you need for the day.
