Nakoda Exim

We are based in Malad West, specifically in the Paras Industrial Estate. Our unit is number 139. To get here, you have to navigate through Ramchandra Extension lane in the Kanchpada area. It's a typical industrial spot. There’s always trucks loading and unloading nearby, so it gets quite dusty. Nakoda Exim is just one of many businesses in this estate. The walls in our unit could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we've been too busy with work to worry about that. We have a lot of stock piled up, so space is always a bit tight. We've been here for a while and know most of the neighbors. It’s a loud place during the day with all the machinery and people shouting over the noise. We usually eat our lunch together at the big table in the middle of the room. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We wear comfortable clothes and just get on with things. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out or find something else to do. Getting deliveries in and out can be a real project because the lanes are so narrow. You have to be patient around here. We don't have a website that’s updated much, we just prefer talking to people or handling things over the phone. It's a straightforward way of working that seems to suit us just fine in Malad.
