Equichem

Equichem is located at 206 A in the Ciem Industrial Estate. We are on Ramchandra Lane Extension in Malad West. It is an industrial area, so there are always trucks moving in and out with supplies. Our unit is just one of many in this large estate. We spend our time working with various chemical products. The air inside can sometimes have a bit of a sharp smell, but we are used to it by now. We have to be careful with how we store everything, so we keep the shelves as tidy as possible. It’s a lot of manual work, moving drums and containers around. Malad West is a big place, but the industrial estate is a well-known part of it. We’ve been here for several years now. The building itself is made of concrete and has that solid, industrial feel to it. We don't have any fancy offices with carpets or air conditioning in every corner. We just have what we need to do the work properly. Usually, we are here early to beat the traffic and get a head start on the orders. It’s a practical environment. We don’t really go in for long meetings or corporate talk. We just discuss what needs to be done for the day and then we go and do it. It’s a simple way to run things. Most of the people around here are doing the same thing. I suppose that is just how it goes when you are in this line of work.
