N. K. Multi-Tech Filters Pvt. Ltd. is over at unit 232 in the Hiranandani Industrial Estate. It’s located in Kanjurmarg West. The estate is quite large with many different units, but we’ve been in 232 for a good while. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate of the estate. We spend our days focusing on filters and other technical parts. The workspace is usually cluttered with tools and various components we are working on. It’s definitely not the kind of place with fancy rugs or expensive art on the walls. It’s a working shop, plain and simple. We have a few guys who have been here since the company started. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the jobs that need to get finished. The noise from the other businesses in the estate has just become background sound to us over the years. We don’t really do any advertising. Most people find out about us through word of mouth in the trade. Kanjurmarg is a good spot for us because it’s easy to get our supplies delivered. Sometimes the power goes out for a while, but we just wait it out and then get back to work. We don’t have a big corporate story or any fancy goals. We just make sure the filters are done correctly and sent out when they should be. Just look for unit 232 and someone will be there.
