You can find our studio on the first floor of Su House. We are located within the Sitaram Mill Compound on N M Joshi Marg in Lower Parel. This part of Mumbai is interesting because it’s full of these old mill buildings that have been turned into offices and studios. Our space has those high ceilings and large windows that you only get in these old structures. It’s not a polished, modern office. It feels more like a creative workshop where things are constantly being moved around. We have mirrors and lighting setups all over the place, and there are always product samples sitting on the tables. The walk from the station can be quite a struggle when it’s raining, and the compound itself is a bit of a maze if you don't know your way around. We’ve got a small corner with some chairs where we sit for lunch or to have a quick meeting. The noise from the street outside is always there, but once you’re inside the compound, it feels a bit more separated from the city rush. We don’t really bother with fancy signage or a big reception area. People just come in and find us working. It’s a very relaxed, practical environment. We focus on the products and the shoots we have scheduled. It’s a bit messy and lived-in, but that’s just the way we like to work.
