Out here in Andheri East, at 1/605 Apana Ghar Society in Saiwadi, things move pretty fast every single day. This Municipal Corporation Of Greater Mumbai office is located on Telilane, and if you know Mumbai, you know how busy this area gets with the crowds. The office is inside the society, which makes it feel like a part of the local community instead of some far-off place. We deal with a lot of the local issues that come up in this part of the city. The space is tight, as is common in Mumbai, and we have files tucked away in every available cupboard and shelf. During the monsoon, the sound of the rain on the roof is so loud we have to raise our voices just to be heard across the room. We spend our days processing applications and keeping the municipal records for the area in order. It is a humble setup with standard office furniture and a lot of paper stacked up.
