Mumbai Scrabble Club

The Mumbai Scrabble Club is tucked away in the Hindu Colony area of Bandra West. It’s a quiet residential part of the neighborhood, which suits us just fine for what we do. We aren’t a big business with a storefront or a lot of employees. Instead, we are just a group of people who get together because we enjoy the game and the company. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed and informal. We usually have some tables set up and the sound of wooden tiles clicking is a constant background noise whenever we are open. Bandra West is a great place to be, and Hindu Colony has a bit of a slower pace than the main roads like Linking Road. We’ve been meeting here for quite a while now. It’s not about being professional; it’s more about the community and the game itself. Some members have been coming for years, while others just drop in once in a while. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy office space. It’s just a room where we can focus on Scrabble. Sometimes the games get a bit competitive, but it’s mostly just friendly. We appreciate having a spot in Bandra where we can hang out without much fuss. If you know the Hindu Colony area, you know it’s a nice place to walk around. We just fit into the daily life of the colony. The club is just a simple gathering for people who like words.
