Mumbai Metro One Pvt Ltd operates this space out of the Chandramani Society in Goregaon West. We are located at 440/7, right on the New Link Road in Laxminagar. If you know this part of Mumbai, you know how loud and busy it is with the metro construction and the traffic. Our office is right in the middle of all that action. We spend our days dealing with everything that goes into keeping the metro lines running and managed. It’s not a polished corporate headquarters, it is more like a functional hub where the real work happens. We have maps of the lines pinned to the walls and a lot of logbooks on the desks. The society itself is a regular residential place, so we try to be mindful of the neighbors while we are running a busy operation. The New Link Road is always being dug up or changed, so just getting into the office can be an adventure sometimes. We are a small team here and we mostly focus on the daily maintenance schedules and the staff rotations. It is a lot of work to make sure the trains are on time and everything is safe for the passengers. We just keep our heads down and deal with the challenges as they come up, usually over a cup of tea from the local shop. There is always something that needs fixing or a schedule that needs adjusting, but we just take it one day at a time.
