Unique Enterprises

Finding us can be a bit of a puzzle if you aren't used to the narrow, busy lanes of Nagdevi. Unique Enterprises is located up on the third floor of Ratan House, in office number 22. Mumbai is always a loud place, but Nagdevi feels like it’s on another level entirely. There's always someone shouting out orders or a heavy cart being pushed past on the pavement. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now. The elevator doesn't always work like it should, so we end up taking the stairs more often than not. It keeps us moving, I guess. Our office is small and usually crowded with files and various samples. We don't have fancy furniture or a nice view of the city. Just our desks and the sounds of the street coming through the open window. People come to this area looking for all sorts of hardware and industrial bits and pieces. We are just one of many small businesses here, but we’ve carved out our own little corner over the years. It’s a busy life. Sometimes we don't even have time for a proper lunch break, just a quick snack at the desk while working. The paperwork piles up, and we spend a lot of our time talking to suppliers. It’s not a glamorous job at all. But it’s the reality of doing business in the Mumbai 3 area. We just stick to the tasks.
