Our place is called H K Shah Co and you can find us at Shop No 1 in Gupta Bhavan. We are right opposite the Mulund railway station on SVP Road. It is a very busy spot because of the station nearby. All day long, you can hear the trains and the crowds of people rushing to catch their ride. Being in Mulund West means we see a lot of the same faces every day. The shop is small but it serves its purpose for what we do. We usually open up early before the main rush starts. SVP Road can get quite jammed with traffic in the evenings, so we are used to the noise of horns and buses passing by. Gupta Bhavan is an old building that most locals know well. We do not have anything flashy here. Just a desk, some chairs, and the paperwork we handle daily. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons but we have a fan that keeps things moving. Sometimes customers come in just to ask for directions because we are so close to the station. We do not mind that at all. Living and working in Mulund has its own rhythm. We have been here long enough to see the shops around us change, but we stay right here at Shop No 1. It is a simple life and we just focus on getting our tasks done before heading home at the end of the day.
