Our place is situated in units 4 and 5 of the Gala Industrial Estate over in Mulund West. It’s a typical industrial park environment. There are always trucks backing in and the sound of metal hitting metal coming from the neighbors. We specialize in making springs. Our units are filled with coiling machines and large spools of wire. It’s a noisy place to work, but we’ve all gotten used to it over the years. There is usually a bit of grease on everything, and our work clothes reflect that. Mulund West is a busy area, and the industrial estate is always humming with activity. We have a small table where we take our lunch breaks, usually surrounded by boxes of finished springs. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy website. Most of our customers are people we have known for a long time or folks who heard about us from someone else in the trade. The lighting is bright enough to see what we are doing, but it isn't exactly cozy. We just focus on the machines and making sure the springs are the right size. Sometimes the delivery trucks get blocked in the narrow lanes of the estate, which causes a bit of shouting, but it all gets sorted eventually. It is a practical, hands-on business. We just come in, do the work, and head home.
