Mulund Gymkhana

Navghar Road in Mulund East is where you’ll find us. We are right opposite Shahani Colony, which makes it easy for the locals to spot the building. Mulund East has a different feel than the West side; it’s a bit more settled, maybe a bit quieter in the lanes, though Navghar Road stays busy enough with traffic. We’ve been part of the landscape here for a good long time. The building shows its age a bit, but it has character. People come here to get away from their screens for an hour or two. We have the usual stuff you’d expect. Sometimes the equipment squeaks and we have to grease it up, or the lights in the back corner flicker a little when the power fluctuates, but nobody seems to mind much. It’s the kind of place where you see the same faces every single morning at 6 AM. We don’t do anything flashy. There’s no big marketing team behind us, just a few of us who keep the place running and make sure the doors are unlocked on time. Opposite Shahani Colony, you’ll see people walking their dogs or kids heading to school while we’re just getting started. It’s a solid neighborhood spot. We don't have fancy towels or flavored water. It’s just a space for the people in Mulund to use. We like it that way and the members seem to agree. It feels like home after you've been coming for a few months. Most days are pretty much the same here.
