Our office is situated in Kandivali East, specifically within the Lokhandwala Mhada Layout at Kranti Nagar. We are based in Akurli Om CHS Ltd, in unit A/32. Being in a Mhada layout means we are surrounded by a lot of other residents and small offices, so there’s always something happening right outside the door. Mumbai 400 101 is a busy pin code, and Kandivali is a place where people are always looking for a bit more space or a new place to stay. As realtors, we spend our days looking at property papers and talking to people who want to buy or sell. The office is pretty basic, with some plastic chairs and a few desks where we keep the registers and documents. It’s not one of those high-end corporate offices you see in the movies. It’s just a functional room where we handle the reality of Mumbai real estate. The building is a typical cooperative housing society structure, so you have the usual sounds of families and neighbors nearby. We don’t have a big marketing team; we mostly just talk to people who walk in or call us because they saw our name in the local area. It’s a lot of paperwork and waiting for approvals, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it. We like being in Kandivali because it’s a grounded part of the city where people are just trying to find a home for their families.
