M/S. Shilpa Roadlines has its main spot in Badlapur, specifically over at Tridal Apartment on Katrap D. P. Road. We’re up on the second floor in flat number fourteen. It’s a quiet enough area for an office, away from the main noise of the district. We’ve been here in Thane for a good bit now, handling transport and road logistics for local clients. The office is pretty small, just a few desks and some filing cabinets for all the trip sheets. Most of our work happens on the phone or out at the loading docks. We don't really do much advertising; word of mouth is how most people find us. My cousin and a couple of friends help me run things. We handle various types of cargo, mostly stuff moving through the state. It gets a bit hectic at the end of the month when all the billing is due. Sometimes the lift in the building is out, so we have to take the stairs, which isn't fun with heavy files. We just try to keep the trucks moving and make sure our drivers are okay on the road. It’s a straightforward business. We don’t have fancy software or a big lobby. Just real people trying to make a living in the transport world. If you need us, we're usually around during the day, drinking tea and checking the daily schedules.
