Modern Road Makers Pvt. Ltd. has an office located at Room No.57 in Indira Nagar. This is part of the Tagore Nagar Group No.07 area in Vikhroli East, right near the Hindu Cemetery. It’s a busy part of Mumbai where there is always some kind of noise or movement outside. Our room is just a basic office space where we keep our files and meet with our site supervisors. Since we do road work, most of our time is spent out on actual sites rather than sitting behind a desk here. The office gets a bit cramped when everyone shows up at once for the morning meeting. We have a lot of maps and technical drawings pinned to the walls. Vikhroli is a good spot for us because it’s central to many of the projects we handle across the city. Sometimes it’s hard to find the exact room if you’re new to the building because the numbering is a bit confusing. We’ve had this space for years and it suits what we need. It’s mostly just desks, chairs, and stacks of paperwork related to asphalt and concrete. We get a lot of phone calls about heavy machinery and schedules. Dealing with the Mumbai traffic is a big part of our daily life, both for our workers and for the logistics of our projects. We just keep our focus on the roads we are building and try to manage the paperwork as best we can.
