Our office is located in New Panvel at the Mangal Gani C.H.S. building. We are in Sector 13, specifically on Plot Number 23. If you know where the Ayyappa Mandir is, we are very close to that. It’s a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. M/S. Khimji Poonja Freight Forwarders Pvt. Ltd has been in this spot for a while. The office is B-103. It’s a busy place because freight forwarding involves so much paperwork and coordination. You’ll see stacks of documents on almost every desk. We are always dealing with customs forms and shipping manifests. Navi Mumbai is a bit spread out, so we do a lot of our communicating over the phone and internet. The atmosphere in the office is pretty casual. We aren't big on wearing suits or anything like that. We just want to get the job done. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the phones are all ringing at once. We have a small pantry where we make coffee. The building itself is a typical residential-commercial mix. There is always some construction or repair work going on nearby. We just focus on our tasks and try to make sure every freight move goes as planned. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We like being in Panvel because it’s close enough to the ports but away from the main Mumbai congestion.
