M/S Emco Limited, Thane

Our office is at 303, Champak-59, which is part of the Vasant Vihar complex in Thane. It’s a pretty nice area, actually. Vasant Vihar has a lot of trees and it’s a bit quieter than the main Thane station area, which we all appreciate when the work gets stressful. The office is basically a converted space in a residential-style building. We’ve got a few rooms filled with desks and computers. It’s got a very lived-in feel to it, not like those cold glass offices in the city center. There’s a small balcony where some of us go to get a bit of fresh air or watch the traffic below. Since we are Emco Limited, we handle a lot of technical and engineering work, but the office feels more like a home base. We have shelves filled with old manuals and technical drawings that have been there for years. The lift in the building is a bit slow and makes a funny noise, so we often just take the stairs if we're in a hurry. Thane can get very crowded, so being tucked away in Vasant Vihar is a bit of a relief for the team. We get our work done, have our lunch together in the small pantry area, and head home before the evening rush becomes too much to handle. It’s not a high-rise tower, just a regular office in a regular neighborhood. We like it that way because it feels more personal and less formal for everyone.
