M/S E A Khan & Sons

Our office is inside Sinclair Apartments on Hill Road, just behind the Benhur Medicals. Being in Bandra West, things are always moving fast. M/S E A Khan & Sons is a family-run thing, and we’ve been in this flat for many years. It doesn't feel like a cold corporate office because it’s basically a converted apartment. We have desks set up where the living room used to be. It’s a bit cramped with all the ledgers and folders, but it works for us. Living and working in Mumbai means you get used to the sound of honking cars and the rain hitting the windows during monsoon. We handle various bits of business from here, mostly talking to people on the phone or meeting them in the small area we have for visitors. We don't have a fancy receptionist or a coffee machine that makes lattes. If you want tea, someone just puts the kettle on in the small kitchen. It’s an honest way to spend the day. Most of our clients have been coming to the Khans for a long time, so they know exactly where to find us. Hill Road is always packed with shoppers, so getting to the office can be a bit of a walk through the crowds. We like it here though. It’s home and work all in one. We don't plan on moving anywhere else. We just keep doing what we do, one day at a time.
