We are based in the Byculla Service Industries Premises on Sussex Road, right near D.K. Marg. Byculla is an old part of the city, and the building we are in has seen better days, to be honest. But it’s a solid place for a business like ours. We are on the B4/5 side of the premises. Most of what we do involves healthcare supplies, so the rooms are filled with cartons and pallets. It’s not the kind of place where you’d bring guests for a fancy meeting. We just have some basic desks and a lot of storage space. The elevator in the building can be a bit slow, so we often end up taking the stairs if we’re in a hurry. It’s a noisy neighborhood with a lot of heavy vehicles moving through the narrow streets. We’ve been here a while and have gotten used to the rhythm of the area. It’s a practical location because it’s relatively central, which helps with getting things moved across the city. The staff here is a small group, and we mostly just focus on keeping track of the inventory and making sure the deliveries are on time. There is no corporate polish here, just a lot of cardboard boxes and people working hard in a busy part of Mumbai. We usually leave the windows open to get some air, even if it means hearing all the street noise. It's just a normal workplace with plenty of work to do.
