This business doesn't really stay in one spot for long because our territory covers so many different states. One week we might be dealing with something in Andhra Pradesh, and the next we are looking at things in Maharashtra or Gujarat. We also have work going on in West Bengal and right here in Orissa. It is a lot of ground to cover, and we spend a lot of time on trains or in cars moving between these places. Dealing with steel and iron means you have to be where the industry is. We don't have a single big headquarters that we sit in all day; it's more about being on the move. The staff is spread out, and we communicate mostly through calls and messages to keep track of what is happening at the different sites. It gets tiring, especially when you are trying to manage the different languages and ways of doing business in places like Kolkata versus Mumbai or Ahmedabad. Every state has its own rhythm. We deal with the logistics of moving materials and making sure the supplies reach where they are supposed to. Sometimes things get delayed at the borders or there's a problem with the transport, and we have to spend the whole day sorting it out. It is a busy life, and we don't have much time for office politics. We just focus on the metal and the movement of goods across the country.
