Motor World

Motor World has been sitting here on Victoria Overbridge Road for a good long time. You can find us right opposite the Britania Biscuit factory in Darukhana, so usually, the air smells a bit like baking while we’re working on greasy car parts. It’s an interesting contrast. We’re down by Reay Road, which is always packed with traffic and people moving around. Most of the work we do involves the usual engine stuff, fixing things that break, and keeping old vehicles running as long as they can. The shop isn't exactly tidy, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time under hoods or dealing with spare parts that come in from all over. It’s a noisy neighborhood, especially with the overbridge nearby and all the industrial stuff happening in this part of Mumbai. People know us as the place to go when they’re in a hurry or if they’re just passing through Darukhana and hear a weird noise coming from their wheels. We don’t spend much on decorations or a nice waiting room because that’s not what people come here for. They just want their motors fixed so they can get back to their day. It’s hard work, but we’ve got a routine that keeps things moving. The location is convenient for anyone working in the docks or living nearby, and we try to keep things honest and straightforward with everyone who walks through the door.
