Mother Teresa Clinic

Our small spot is called Mother Teresa Clinic. We are located at Shop No. 3 in the Shiv Sai Raj building, right at Bhoiwada Naka in Parel. It’s a tiny place, but we make it work. Parel Naka is a very crowded area, so there’s always a lot of energy and noise outside our shop. We’ve been here for quite a while now, serving the people who live in the surrounding buildings. It’s a simple clinic where you can come for a quick checkup or if you’re feeling under the weather. We don't have a lot of space for a big waiting room, so sometimes people have to wait outside on the sidewalk for a minute. The staff is just a couple of us who know the neighborhood well. We see a lot of the same people every week. It’s not a fancy medical center with shiny floors. It’s just a practical, local clinic for the working people in Parel. We keep our records in folders and try to remember everyone’s name. If you need a prescription or a basic consultation, that’s what we do. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. It’s just an honest little clinic in a busy part of Mumbai. We open early and try to help whoever walks through the door. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we keep a fan going for the patients.
