Morsun Coating Systems

Morsun Coating Systems is located over at the T.V. Industrial Estate in Worli. We are in unit 322 on S.K. Ahire Marg. It’s an older industrial complex, but it works for what we do. The area has changed a lot with all the new high-rises going up nearby, but inside the estate, it still feels like the old Mumbai. We spend our days working with different types of coatings and finishes. There’s always a faint smell of thinner or resin in the air, which you get used to after a week or so. It’s a practical space, not meant for showing off. We have some heavy machinery and benches where we test things out. Our staff mostly lives nearby, so we have a pretty consistent group of people who know the ropes. Most of our work involves figuring out how to make surfaces last longer, which isn't always exciting but it keeps us busy. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the middle of a project, wearing overalls and covered in some kind of dust. It can get quite hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the side of the building, but we’ve got a few fans that keep the air moving. We mostly talk to factory managers and guys who need parts coated for their own machines. It’s honest work and we just get on with it every day.
