Moramkars Guidance

Our place is tucked away in Dadar West, specifically at Bhana Manzil on Padmabai Thakkar Road. If you are familiar with this part of Mumbai, you know how hectic it gets near Shivsena Bhavan. We are right in that lane, just across from Aaswad Hotel. Most days, the smell of Maharashtrian food from across the street drifts over here, which can be quite distracting when you are trying to focus. The building, Bhana Manzil, is one of those classic Mumbai structures that has been around for a long time. It has high ceilings and those heavy doors that you don't really see in new constructions. Being on the first or second floor means we see a lot of the street activity from the balcony or windows. The lane is usually crowded with people heading toward the flower market or the station, but our corner stays relatively manageable. We don't have a big reception desk or any of those corporate bells and whistles. It is just a few rooms where we sit and talk to people who need some direction with their studies or careers. The furniture is old but sturdy. We have a lot of files stacked up, and the fans run pretty much all day to keep the Mumbai humidity at bay. It is a very local vibe, where people often just drop by because they were already in Dadar for something else. It feels like home.
