Monginis

This Monginis is located inside the Pete Chennappa Industrial Estate on Magadi Main Road 2. It’s in Santacruz East, but it’s definitely more of an industrial vibe around here. We get a lot of workers from the nearby factories coming in for their breaks. It’s not the kind of place with a view or nice gardens outside. You mostly see trucks and people moving crates. We keep the shop clean and stocked with whatever we have for the day. Being in an industrial estate means things are a bit more rugged. The air is a bit dusty from the road, so we’re always cleaning the counters. We make a lot of quick snacks because people don't have much time for lunch. Magadi Main Road 2 is always noisy with traffic, but inside it’s a bit quieter. We know most of the regular guys who work in the estate. We don't have fancy brochures or anything. We just have the cakes and the savory stuff. Sometimes we run out of the popular items by noon. It’s a busy, working-class spot and we like it that way. We just keep the ovens going and try to stay on top of the orders. It’s a practical place for a practical neighborhood. Santacruz East keeps us busy enough, and we just take it one day at a time.
