Monginis

We are set up in Chembur Kurla East, right on S G Barve Road in the Kamgar Nagar area. It’s a busy part of the city, and there is always a lot of noise from the vehicles passing by on the main road. Our Monginis shop is easy to spot if you are walking along S G Barve Road. We have been here for a while, and the neighborhood has changed quite a bit around us. The shop stays fairly busy because of all the offices and homes nearby. We see a lot of the same people every morning on their way to work, stopping in for a quick snack or a savory puff. The interior is simple, with white tiles and some shelves for the dry cakes and biscuits. We spend a lot of our day just making sure the displays look full. Sometimes the deliveries are a bit late because of the traffic in Chembur, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s not a fancy job, but we like talking to the customers who have been coming here since they were kids. The Kamgar Nagar area has a lot of energy, and we feel right in the middle of it. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that; we just open the shutters in the morning and stay until the evening when most things are sold out. It’s a decent way to spend the day for us.
