You can find us at Malad West on Balaram Street. We are situated in Shop No 5 of the Bhoomi Classic Building. It’s a nice enough building, and we are right there on the ground floor where it’s easy to see us from the sidewalk. Being in Malad means there is always something going on outside our doors. We get a lot of foot traffic from people living in the building and the surrounding blocks. The shop itself is fairly small, but we manage to fit quite a bit into the space. We have our display cases lined up with different slices of cake and puffs. Every morning, we wipe down the counters and check the dates on everything. It’s a bit of a ritual for us now. The air conditioner hums in the background most of the day because it gets quite hot on Balaram Street in the afternoons. We don't go in for big displays or loud music. It’s just a quiet place where you can get a cake for a party or a snack for yourself. Sometimes we have to move boxes around when a new shipment comes in, which makes the shop feel even smaller, but we get through it. People in the Bhoomi Classic Building often just come down in their slippers to grab something quick. It feels like a very local community spot, and we are just happy to be part of the daily life here on this street.
