Monginis

Our shop is on Amrut Nagar India Colony Road 5. It is a pretty straightforward location to find if you are familiar with this part of town. We have been operating here for a good while, serving the people who live in the nearby buildings. The street can get a bit dusty sometimes, but we try to keep our windows clean so people can see what we have inside. Monginis is a name everyone knows, so we don't have to explain much about what we sell. We have the usual selection of birthday cakes and snacks that you'd expect. The morning starts early for us, usually around eight when we start taking deliveries and putting everything in the cooling racks. It’s not a big team, just a couple of us working the shifts. We spend a lot of time talking to the regulars about the weather or how the local cricket matches are going. The light in the shop is a bit bright, but it helps show off the frosting on the cakes. We don't have any fancy seating areas, just a place to stand and pick out what you want. It’s a practical setup for a busy road like India Colony Road 5. Most people just pop in for five minutes and then head back out to catch their bus or walk home. We like the routine of it all, even on the days when it feels a bit slow or the rain keeps people away.
