Monginis

We are located over in Bhandup West, specifically around Ganesh Colony. If you know Gandhi Bhavan Road in Kothrud, Pune 4, then you probably know the area where we sit. It’s a busy spot most days, with cars going by and people walking to the nearby shops. Our place isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside, just a standard shop front with the name Monginis on it. Inside, we have our glass displays filled with cakes and pastries. We spend a lot of our mornings just setting things up and making sure the floor is swept before the first customers come in. Usually, it’s quiet until about eleven, then things pick up. We get a lot of kids coming in after school looking for a treat, and parents stopping by to pick up something for tea time. The counter is a bit worn down from years of people leaning on it, but it does the job fine. We don’t really do much advertising or anything like that; people just find us because we’ve been here for so long. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when three or four people are inside at once, but everyone is usually patient. It’s just us here, keeping things running and making sure there’s enough stock for the weekend rush. We like the neighborhood vibe, even when it gets noisy with the traffic on the main road. It’s just a simple, local bakery doing its thing day after day.
