Monallika Metals is located right in the middle of the metal district in Mumbai. Our office is at 94/100, on the second floor of a building in 5th Kumbharwada, specifically room 15-A/16 on Maruti Mandir Marg. If you’ve ever walked through the lanes of Kumbharwada, you know how packed and noisy it is. There’s the sound of hammers and machinery everywhere you go. Our office is pretty small and is filled with metal samples, old ledgers, and a couple of desks that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time talking to local traders and coordinating shipments. It’s a very traditional way of doing business, often involving a lot of back-and-forth on prices. We don’t have any corporate polish or fancy presentations. Most of our work is based on the relationships we’ve built over the years with other metal dealers in Maharashtra. The stairs up to the second floor are narrow, and the office can get a bit stuffy in the humid Mumbai weather, but we just keep the windows open and get on with it. We aren't a big, flashy company. We’re just a local business that knows the metal trade inside and out. We don't do much in the way of promotion; word of mouth has always been enough for us. It’s a busy, loud, and honest way to spend our days in this part of the city.
