We are based out of Andheri West. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy and crowded this area can be, but it is also where a lot of the action is. We work in HR, mostly helping people find new jobs or helping companies fill the gaps in their teams. It is a lot of time spent on the phone and even more time looking at different resumes on a screen. Our office is very simple. We just have the basic desks and chairs we need to get the job done. We do not have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. Most of the time, we are just talking to people or meeting them at a nearby cafe if they are in the area. Andheri West is huge, so we are always moving around. We have been doing this for a while now and we know that finding the right job is not always easy. We try to be honest with everyone who calls us. We do not make big promises that we cannot keep. We just look at what is out there and see if it fits. The street noise is constant, but we have learned to tune it out while we work. Sometimes we stay late into the evening because that is when people who already have jobs are free to talk about moving to a new one. It is just a normal, everyday HR shop trying to help people out.
