Moksh Enterprises is on the Ground Floor of building 42/44, Om Shanti, located in New Hanuman Lane. If you’ve ever been to New Hanuman Lane, you know how narrow the streets are and how many people are moving through there at once. Our spot is at number 25, and it’s a constant stream of activity. Since we are on the ground floor, we have people poking their heads in all day long. The office is mostly just a place to store ledgers and some of the smaller items we trade. It gets quite hot in the summer because the buildings are so close together, so we keep the fans running at full speed. We don't have any big corporate mission; we just buy and sell and try to keep our customers happy. The tea lady comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a five-minute break to sit on the steps. There are stacks of files that probably need to be organized, but we always seem to have something more urgent to do. It’s a bit messy and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. We’ve been in Om Shanti for a long time and we know the other traders in the lane quite well. It’s a hectic way to work, but the energy of the market keeps us going. We just do our business and try to get home before the evening rush becomes impossible.
