I work out of Flat No 503 in Building No 7, which is located over in Kandivali West. It is on the fifth floor, so you get a bit of a breeze if you leave the windows open, which is nice during the humid months. The building is a typical residential one, so you’ll see families and kids in the elevators when you come up. It’s a modest setup. I’ve turned one of the rooms into my main workspace, with a desk that’s a bit too small for all the papers I have. There is no big sign on the door or a lobby to wait in. It’s just a home office where I handle my daily business. Kandivali West is a good area to be in, even if the traffic on the main road can be a bit of a headache sometimes. I usually start my day early before the rest of the building gets too noisy. I don't have a team of people working for me, so it’s mostly just me managing everything. Most of the people I work with have been around for a long time and they know exactly where to find me. It isn't a corporate environment, and I don't try to pretend it is. It’s just a simple, practical way to get things done without the overhead of a big commercial office space. It is just how I have always worked.
