You’ll find Mohammedally Akbarally & Co. down at Shop No. 5 in Kadar Mansion. We are on the ground floor at 130 Nagdevi Street in the Masjid area. If you know this part of town, you know it’s always crowded and moving fast with people and carts everywhere. Our shop has been around this neighborhood for quite a bit. It’s a tight space, but it’s full of character and a lot of history. We don’t have a lot of modern gadgets or a shiny showroom with bright lights. It’s mostly just wooden shelves and old boxes. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to worry about that right now. We talk to our customers like people, not like account numbers. It’s the way things have always been done here on Nagdevi Street. Sometimes it gets hot and the noise from the street is really loud, but that’s just life in Masjid. We don’t put on airs or try to act like a big corporation with fancy titles. We’re just a local business trying to make a living and keep our regulars happy. It’s a straightforward operation. We open up early, do the work, and close when it’s time to head home. It’s not a complicated way to live, and we like it that way. Most people who come here know exactly what they are looking for, and we just help them find it.
