Mohammed Haji Adam & Co.

We are located on the third floor of Nakhuda Manzil. It’s an old building on Kambekar Street in Mumbai, and it has a lot of character, even if the stairs make you winded sometimes. Our office is on the 3rd floor, and we’ve been here for quite some time. The street outside is always full of people and noise, which is just part of living and working in this part of the city. Inside, it’s a bit quieter. We have our ledgers and our files piled up. Mohammed Haji Adam & Co. has been around through a lot of changes in the neighborhood. We see the same faces every morning at the tea stall downstairs. Our space isn't modern by any stretch. The windows are old and sometimes they stick when you try to open them for a breeze. We deal with a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes the mail gets mixed up with the other tenants in the building, so we spend time sorting that out. We don’t have a website that’s updated every day or a big marketing team. It’s just us in this office, handling our affairs as they come. It’s a bit cramped with all the boxes, but it’s our corner of Mumbai and we like the history here.
