My shop is filled with parts for all kinds of cars and trucks, and it’s been that way for years. There are shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling with gaskets, pistons, and things I haven't looked at in months. It's a bit dusty, and the smell of metal and engine oil is always in the air, which you get used to after a while. I spend my time looking through old catalogs to find the right part for a customer who has a car from ten years ago. Sometimes I have to call around to other shops in Kurla to find what someone needs if I don't have it on the shelf. It’s a lot of manual work, moving heavy boxes and identifying small screws. My hands are almost always dirty from handling the stock. We don't have any fancy displays or lights. People just come in, tell me what's wrong with their vehicle, and I try to find the part that will fix it. The neighborhood is lively and there is always someone stopping by for a chat or a cup of tea. It's a practical business. We've been here in this spot for a long time, and we just keep doing the same thing.
