Mohamedali Bandeali & Co. is right here in Darukhana, on 2nd Lane. If you know this part of Mazagaon, it’s mostly about the scrap and the metal shops near Reay Road. We’ve been at this spot for a long time. People come by when they need stuff and we just try to get it sorted for them. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. It gets quite busy and loud outside with all the trucks moving in and out of the lanes. We open up early, usually before the traffic gets really bad. The address says 2nd Lane, and most folks find us okay once they get to the main landmarks. We deal with whatever comes our way during the day. Sometimes things are slow, other days we don’t have time to sit down. We just keep our heads down and do the work. There isn’t much to say other than we are a local business trying to make a living like everyone else in this area. You see the same faces every week, which is nice. Our neighbors are all doing similar things, mostly industrial or hardware related. It’s a gritty part of town but it works for us. We handle the paperwork and the orders from this small space. It’s been our home for years now. Just a regular company doing regular things in Mazagaon. Every morning the shutters go up and we start over.
